I love making gift packaging to match cards and vice versa and a few weeks ago I designed a bag that worked with 6″x6″ pieces of paper. It was very cute and the perfect size for what I needed. I then got to thinking that maybe I could make different sizes of bags……. so I did, and again and again and again……
This video is the first of 2 to show you all of the bags, and the first 3 sizes, you’ll have to come back next week for the rest of them !
It really is an any size gift bag!
You need to watch this video to see a sneak peek of all the different sizes, and the video gives you the instructions and sizes for 3 of the bags.
Video 2 will be out next week, so you can get all the rest of the sizes then too.
Here are the measurements for these bags, or you can download a PDF by clicking HERE.

You have done it again! I couldn’t sleep and was up very early and my lucky morning was finding your delightful (as always) video on, “make any size bag”❣️. I have now made the three sizes and will post on your sharing blog. Thank you! You are just adorable … and clever too
Morning Judi ! My you were up early! So pleased that you love the video, looking forward to seeing your creations.
A little tip. I keep approximately 5″ x 5″ pieces of wax paper with my score sheet. Scrunch one up and gently rub over your dsp where you are going to score. The stylus glides over the dsp, no tearing. I will use the same scrunched up one many times.
Love that tip Judi, thank you very much for sharing !
Did I understand there are templates for the gift bags and the gift pouch? Perhaps one and not the other? Where would I find such templates? I am from the states and have access to many Stampin’ Up products. I have lots of stamps that I love using! Also, though they are not Stampin’ Up products, I have been using some gorgeous paper from the Crafts Consortium, a British group based in Merseyside WA and distributed by Hackney and Co. I am loving all the projects you have presented and look forward to more. I have made folded paper boxes as gifts for many years. I enjoy beautiful paper and embellishments. I was active in a Stampin’ Up group when we lived in Oklahoma, but do not belong to one in Indiana, at present. Thanks for any help you can give with regard to the template(s.) mentioned above.
Hi Karen
The templates are on the blog post that you have comments on, a couple of lines below the video. I hope you can see it now.
