Happy Birthday Gorgeous Mum!  It was my Mum’s birthday in April and I forgot to share with you her card!  So here it is.

Lots and lots of texture with embossing and fussy cutting of the flowers.  I also diecut 3 ovals, one in Whisper White for the back, then another 2 using the scalloped edges and the plain insides to make frames in both Silver Glimmer and Silver foil.

You can see the dimension better in this picture.  I used the aqua painters to colour the flowers and I’m so pleased that Stazon is back in the catalogue!  Not that it ever left my craft room, but I tried really hard not to use it!!!!! But it is so good it does exactly what it says Staz…..on !!!!!  If you are water colouring I really recommend the shimmery white card stock I prefer it to the water colour card as it’s smooth and holds the water really well.

So how are you liking the new catalogue?  I’d love to hear what your favourite items are.  At the moment PS You’re the Best is my favourite stamp set, but about 10 minutes ago the Little Elephant stamp set and matching punch arrived……. I think that is going to see lots of stamping action!
