Today’s video tutorial is to make a Butterfly Top Gift Bag.  I feel like I should explain. it’s not a Butterfly on top of a bag, more that the bag top looks like a butterfly……. well it does to me. You will have to let me know what you think!!  If you scroll down below the video you will see another version of the bag and you will be able to see the top more clearly.  So this version is using some new papers, embellishments and ribbon from the Autumn-Winter catalogue.  I do spend a bit of time showing them to you at the beginning of the video, they are so pretty!

I can’t put links to my online store for these products until they are available on the 5th September.  But don’t worry I will come back and do that as soon as we launch.  In the meantime I’m sure you can make this lovely Butterfly Top Gift Bag with your favourite papers and embellishments.  You do know you should use those wonderful papers you keep looking at !  Think how excited one of your friends or a family member would be if you made them this bag in some stunning paper!  Stop hoarding and use it !  (I am saying that to myself as much as to you!!!!!)

So here is the other variation of the bag with a top down view so you can see the Butterfly wings clearly!

It’s a bank holiday weekend here in the UK, so that’s a 3 day weekend which is always exciting.  Even more so when I had forgotten it was a bank holiday! We are meeting friends for a beach walk and lunch and lots of relaxing to do.  I have a book or 2 with my name on them. Or maybe a plan of a Fast And Furious DVD marathon!  Unless of course the weather improves and then I’ll be out in the garden.

Have fun with what ever you are doing and I’ll see you on Monday!
