So do you like Nice Tins? My Mother-in-Law Brenda can’t go shopping without us hearing her exclaim joy over discovering a “Nice Tin’! Invariably she brings the Nice Tin home! When I was designing this project for my recent team training it was Brenda’s voice I heard! She would love this Copper Tea tin! You will find them on page 192 of the annual Stampin’ Up! catagloue they come isn a set of 4 and are a great size about 3 3/4″ high and wide and 2″ deep. They fit the 3” square envelopes and cards perfectly as you will see later!
I really wanted to showcase the colour of the tin so although it has a little bit of embellishment on it I didn’t want to go over the top, and the Copper trim looked fab wrapped around. The butterfly is from the Springtime Impressions dies and I love the effect of cutting it out of patterned paper. It’s a great way of using up scraps too.
I made 5 cards to go inside all using the Twinkle Twinkle Suite of products that you will find on pages 82-83. It’s so easy to make fab projects when all the co-ordinating is done for you. I am using the self adhesive stars on everything they are really sparkly!
The 5 cards and envelopes fit beautifully inside the tin and you could probably get 3-5 more in there too! It would make a great gift for someone who is tricky to buy for, and once the cards are all used they have a ‘Nice Tin’ to keep!
