I have another sneak peek Christmas card for you today! It’s such a fabulous stamp and die set, I am sure it’s going to be a big seller. So the stamp set is called Dashing Deer, I have used it for the Christmas Wishes greeting. The leaping deer is from the Detailed Deer Dies and I have die cut it from Gold Foil. You will find both the stamp set and the dies on page 9 of the Autumn-Winter 2018 Stampin’ Up! catalogue.
The deep embossing is made by the Swirls and Curls embossing folder (page 5) and did you spy the ribbon? It’s Merry Merlot & Copper reversible ribbon (page 29), super pretty! The background colour is Merry Merlot to co-ordinate with the ribbon. A quick and simple card but I think it packs a punch!
You m might be wondering why I cut the deer from Gold foil rather than Copper foil, since the ribbon has copper in it. You would be right to wonder, I tried both of them and decided I liked the gold Dashing Deer better, but they both did look lovely.
