I have used the wonderful Varied Vases Stamp set for this card, with some white heat embossing and a technique called White Wash. I have been meaning to do a video on this for a while, but I’ll explain how to do it and if you want me to do a video on another project I will just leave me a comment below.
Stamp the vase and the orchids in Versamark ink and then heat emboss in white on Crumb Cake card. Then I took a little Craft White re-inker, put it on a plate and mixed it with a little water from the aqua painter. I then painted it onto the card to make the water and the insides of the flowers. I left it to dry whilst I made the rest of the card. Once it was completely dry I coloured over the top of the white re-inker with an aqua painter and the Pool Party ink. You need to work quite quickly so as not to mix the white and the pool party ink too much. Leave to dry completely and assemble the card. I used the tiny Share What You Love artisan pearls in Tranquil Tide to finish the orchids.
