Happy Monday! As I’m sat here typing with my 2nd cup of coffee and yes it’s not quite 8.30am I am thinking this is the calm before the storm. I have my list of everything I need to do before I leave. However, I seem to keep finding things that need to be done that aren’t on the list……. Hmmm, does that happen to you? I have a card for you today that takes a bit of time but its so worth it and you can change around the colours and styles to suit. Its a Making Christmas Bright card using the matching Christmas Bulb builder punch. I am hoping the punch and the 2 matching sets will carry on into next year, we shall see. The light bulb is from the Making Everyday Bright stamp set which is the other one that coordinates with the punch and that stamp set you NEED! Come back on Friday and you’ll see why.
You need to stamp the bulbs in Daffodil Delight and punch out and then do the same with the screw fittings in Basic Grey. The strings of lights are stamped in Old Olive over the top of the Real red card. The and the foliage is made using the fir tree from Lovely as a Tree, stamped on Old Olive and Mossy Meadow. The thing that takes the time is really the assembly of the lights. I found it easiest to use Tombow to stick the screw fitting to the bulb ln and then used the small dimensionals to attach them to the card.

The tiling went really well at the weekend, and I can use the tile cutter! I know I’m very pleased with myself! There was lots of organising though, we have 4 colours of tiles and wanteed a random pattern. It’s so hard to make a random pattern, but we got there in the end!
