I’m back! Well, I’ve been back for a few days but I’m back at work and catching up on all the things I missed. My email inbox is gradually getting smaller so that’s a good thing! I promised a review of my week away, be aware there are lots of pictures and maybe a couple of sneak peeks at the bottom!
So lots of people have been asking why I went to Florida in the first place and what’s Onstage? So, I shall start there. Onstage is a Stampin’ Up! hosted event held twice a year in April and November at all different venues around the world. Currently, there are 3 Stampin’ Up! regions and we take it in turns to hold the Live 3-day event, whilst the other 2 regions hold Local 1-day events. Basically, each region has a Live event every 18 months. So whilst I was in Florida at the 3-day Live event, there was a 1-day local event happening here in the UK. The events are to showcase new catalogues, share news and information in the world of Stampin’ Up! see crafting demonstrations and tutorials, craft, see new products, laugh, chat met old and new friends and generally have an amazing time.
If that sounds like fun, you can go too, all you need to do is join my team. Joining is always a great deal, you can read all about it HERE. Onstage is open to ALL demonstrators, it’s very reasonably priced and as you can you can see we receive so many goodies too! April 2019 is in Telford and is a local event, November 2019 is a LIVE event being held in Germany.
This was Stampin’ Up!’s 30th birthday celebration and we certainly did celebrate!
I always learn things at these events and this was just one of the things that has changed my crafting world! Tie some ribbon around your glue dots as shown. You can then peel back the liner to get your glue dots off and the liner stays in place. Never again will your glue dots unravel all over the table and onto the floor leaving stick bits all over! And you won’t get fluff on them either! Seriously I was so excited about this!
I mentioned goodies before I show you those I wanted to share 2 pieces of very exciting new product news, first up Cling stamps! I cannot tell you how fabulous these are, I have been trialling them and I love them. They are so super clingy you are going to love them. You will see them first in January in both the Spring-Summer catalogue and the Sale-a-Bration catalogue. Moving forward into the annual catalogue launching in June, they will replace the current red rubber clear and wood mount stamps. Whilst I’m sad to see wood mount go, these new stamps are so perfect for all stamping and the Stamparatus that it will be okay! You might be able to see some new stamp images in the picture below!
So 2nd in New product news is that there is a Stamparatus bag coming on the 5th December, it is fabulous, I will have more information very soon so watch out for that but look how awesome it is!
I mentioned goodies, well Stampin’ Up! always spoils us at these events and the pictures below are some of the goodies I received. In fact, I also got some more paper and another 2 stamp sets!
These gifts were for my Top UK Sales award.
Since I was in Florida I couldn’t pass up the chance to pop into Disney, Stampin’ Up! took all the leaders to Epcot one day and the photos below are from my trip to the Magic Kingdom. Tigger is my favourite character, I was thrilled to see there was a photo opportunity, so yes I did queue up with all the little kids. Tigger was very pleased I was there to see him as he was my favourite, that was a huge hug!
He didn’t really want Winnie the Pooh to get in on the hug either!
I rode so many rides, got soaked in Florida Rain and saw some amazing fireworks too!
It was a very special trip! So I promised some sneak peeks, first up this is the cover of the NEW Spring-Summer catalogue, I am just going to say Butterflies, Dies and punches and a couple of awesome men’s sets too. You can see how much I’ve been looking at it and it has travelled over 6,000 miles too, its a bit battered! If you have shopped with me during 2018 you will automatically receive a catalogue in the post at the end of December. If you haven’t shopped with me yet and would like to there is plenty of time before the end of the year. You can always email me to request a copy.
How about a couple of cards as well. I adore this stamp set, there are 4 mini punches that go with it, tiny flowers and a leaf, so pretty. There is also a matching paper pack too! You will need this!
If you also love embroidery this stamp set and matching dies will be on your list! The stamps are so detailed!
Wow, that was a tiny peek into my week, it didn’t include the meals with friends, the laughing till my sides hurt, the 15,000 steps a day minimum I walked. Or the shopping, the fantastic 32 degrees, the blue skies. Or making new friends, being wow’d by the most amazing craft demonstrations, the training, it was just amazing! Roll on April!
Now we are getting to the end of the Autumn-Winter catalogue and the following items are at risk of running out before the end of December. So if you would like them, please order them as soon as you can. If they have an * beside them they will go on back order as they are going to be carried forward, so don’t worry too much about those.
