One of the most popular Sale-a-bration FREE items for my customers is By The Bay. Its a fabulous cling stamp set, red rubber so incredible detail and it’s great whether you like to colour in or not!
It’s true there are people who don’t like to colour in……. shocking….. but this card is perfect for them. No colouring in required.
I stamped the image in Early Espresso on Shimmery white card stock (my watercoloring card of choice) and just used a tiny bit of water from an aqua painter and washed it over the top. A sepia image and no colouring in!
On the Crumb Cake layer I stamped the Happy Birthday from Southern Serenade, LOVE that greeting! At the bottom are the Seagulls from the By the Bay stamp set. Let’s talk about the tiny bit of copper foil top and bottom of the main image. This is a trick for you to get the most out of your scraps. I cut two 3/4″ strips of the copper foil and stuck them behind the image, trimming them off level with the edge. Rather than using a full piece of Foil underneath the whole image. No-one will ever know and you can use all those scraps you’ve been hoarding. Yes I know we crafters hoard paper……
Of course if you love to colour in, this stamp set will work perfectly with water colour pencils, blender pens, blends, whatever your favourite colouring in method is!
Of course the By The Bay stamp set can’t be purchased, you can only earn it for FREE when you spend £45, on any other items in the catalogue, either the annual catalogue or the Spring Summer catalogue. So now is a great time to stock up on that card stock, ink and adhesive, and get some bonus stamps!!!!!

I’m pleased to report I’m improving day by day. I went back to yoga and exercise classes yesterday so I’m a bit achy, but it feels great to be moving again! The sun is also out in force at the moment, I’m sure that makes us all feel better. I am however ignoring the fact I have been sneezing all day today! I’m not ready for round two of the flu, thank you!
