Whoop! the weekend starts here and I am so excited about todays project and video! I have been asked to do a video about Fold Flat Gift Bags often, and I recently worked out how to make them. I have a video for you this week with 2 bags, and then 2 more bags in next weeks video. You are going to love them! So easy, a great way to use that patterned paper you have been hoarding and they store flat. Yes I am little bit excited about this…..
So these are the 2 sizes of bags I will be making in todays’ video. All the measurements are below the video along with all the items I used, so you can pop along to my online store and stock up!
The handles are really cool too, rolled paper, you will need a knitting needle or a skewer, all will be explained in the video.
If you are reading this via email please click HERE for the video.

So I have a relaxing weekend planned, with not much gardening, because as you will see in the video I’m sporting an injury! I tried to snip the end of my finger off whilst pruning Lavender! It’s okay all healing nicely but I think I can stretch the sympathy for a few more days!
I am also looking forward to going to see Hobbs and Shaw, the latest movie in the Fast and Furious franchise, lots of action and car chases, it’s going to be fab.
Have a wonderful weekend whatever you are doing and I’ll see you on Monday.

Hi Amanda So sorry about your accident and you feel better soon. Ouch. Those bags are so cute and easy none of that scoring and making triangles. Fabulous thank you for sharing. They’re adorable and I had no idea you could make a foldable bag so quick and easy. That’s why I like your tutorials so much!
Thank you very much Denise! I don’t like difficult, so I always try and find an easy way to do things!
I hope I didn’t subscribe too late to see Part 2? I’m so excited about finding varying sizes of Gift Bags Tutorial on Pinterest or anywhere else. I’m doing a swap this month, I desperately wanted to do something that I could send treats with. With your Gift Bags Tutorial, I can now do that. I tried to design a gift bag with gusseted sides. I gave up after wasting about 15 sheets of 12″ x 12″ CS sheets. I’ll think about it some more and maybe look on Pinterest as well! I don’t quit, it just takes me longer! Again, Thank YOU!
Hi Gloria, part 2 is coming next week! I’m so pleased my tutorial has helped you x
So sorry! I didn’t really look a the bags, I was so excited! Okay, I’ll admit I’m not at my best today. Go ahead and laugh! I did!
