Tasteful Textures Birthday card

A powerful purple Tasteful Textures Birthday Card is what I have for you today. Don’t adjust your screens it is that bright! I love a tonal card, using the same colour in different tones. In this case it’s Gorgeous Grape and Highland Heather.

I stamped the background in Gorgeous Grape ink onto the same colour card. The greeting which is from the Butterfly Wishes stamp set is also stamped in Gorgeous Grape in and punched out with a 1 1/2″ circle punch. The lovely flourish comes from the matching die set and I ran it through the die cutting machine at the same time with a stitched circle die. A few dimensionals and the card is finished.

I have had a fabulous weekend, all a bit crazy with 600 miles of driving, awful rain and storms but Sunday was glorious. Mum and I had a great time at our glass fusing workshop. I’ll put all the details in another blog post once my finished piece has arrived. It was wonderful to catch up with both sets of parents and Kimberley and Dom too, we were so busy chatting there weren’t any pictures……. However I did manage to capture one of Mum, Dad and me at the beach. Love the sunlight halo we have.
