I love a shaker card, in fact I love all cards that move or have some kind of dynamic element. Stampin’ Up! have made a Christmas Shaker card really easy for us with a set of dies and shaker domes!

I’ve made 3 variations but will be showing you the Polar Bear one in the video. Scroll down to see each one in close up. Now i have tried lots of different ways to put the sequins in and to attach the scene to the dome, I hope you will like my way of doing it! It really makes it easy.

The deer was cut out of Whisper White card and the trees in Early Espresso card.

The trees were cut out of Old Olive card, the church from Crumb Cake card and the windows were a piece of Champagne foil card trimmed and stuck behind.

I was kind of hoping that the Christmas decorations would be coming out this weekend….. since Sunday is the 1st December….. But it seems that’s not on Brian’s agenda this week, he’s busy making some awesome Christmas presents, and Christmas decorating is definitely a 2 person job. To be fair we usually put them up the middle of December, but I’m feeling festive! So next weekend will be fine.
Gardening is on the agenda though, so with all the tress and the wisteria, there is a lot of tidying to do and gutters to clear out, don’t worry I’m always on the bottom of the ladder!
I am going to do some crochet practise though, I’ve decide to do a CAL, that’s a Crochet A Long…….. I follow a blog called Attic24, a lady called Lucy, she does some lovely crochet and in January is running a blanket CAL, so nothing like throwing yourself in the deep end…… what could go wrong??? You can read all about it in the link below.

Have fun what ever you are up to this weekend, I’ll be back on Monday!
