Did you have a good weekend? We certainly did, the greenhouse is all complete, no more breakages…… everything is back safe and sound and there is still a little broken panel to let the harvest mouse in……. or the slow worm, both tend to take up residence during the winter, so we made sure they could get in. Such softies we are! Today’s Woven Heirlooms card is very romantic, soft colours and suitable for a wedding, anniversary or any kind of joyous occasion!
There is a tiny bit of fussy cutting for the flowers, and a bit of colouring in too. I used the blender pens to softly add colour onto the flowers and the leaves, those stamps are from Free as a Bird. Repeat stamping without re-inking gives the texture for the background and a little sponge daubing around the sentiment makes it pop. Balmy Blue goes so well with Very Vanilla don’t you think?
