As much as I love to make boxes, I also love pre-made boxes, especially when they can be adapted just like today’s projects. I took pillow boxes and made them into a see-through gift box and a door hanger! Quick and simple projects.
In order to cut the hole out of the front of the pillow box, I gently separated the 2 layers that were glued together. I then cut a hole and added a ring of Poppy Parade card stock. Finally I used a square of window sheet to seal up the hole. I have cut out flowers from the Peaceful Poppies Designer series paper and the Thank you is from the wonderful Label Me Bold stamp set, that is only available until tomorrow!
For the door hanger I took 2 pillow boxes and cut one in half. I trimmed off the glue tab and cut a hole in the top. I put glue along the bottom edge and slid it inside the 2nd pillow box as you can see from the next picture. This leaves a good sized box to put your treats in.

Wow it’s warm today! I’ve been eating my lunch outside most days with Brian in the sun, but it beat me today I had to find some shade to sit in.
It’s all go here with NEW Stampin’ Up! catalogue launch on Wednesday, and I seem to have decided that doing 4 Facebook lives this week was a good idea! It was a good idea……….. but I have lots of things to prepare so I can show you as many things as possible.
I’m still looking for a few Zoom Guinea Pigs, for next Monday at 10am or Wednesday at 2pm. If you’ve never tried it that’s great, we can learn together, or if you are a pro, maybe you can share some tips with us too!
