A fun technique to share with you today, with a replay of yesterdays Craft and Chat. The technique is called White Wash and you get this great chalk board effect on your projects. I do spend a little bit of time at the beginning talking about stamping and splatting with the Whisper White Craft ink as well. You can see the Christmas card I made at the end of this post. The stamp set isn’t available until the 4th August!
Here is the card and the video is below. Please be aware when you buy the Whisper White Craft ink pad it comes with a bottle of re-inker, you don’t need to buy one separately and it’s un-inked so you have to ink it before you can use it.

We had a super busy but successful weekend. Our adventure was for Brian and I to drive a van full of Connor’s kit to Sheffield as he has moved out! He and Lydia are renting a house in Sheffield so a 500 mile round trip was in order. Lots of lifting and shifting and cleaning and a trip to Ikea all in 48 hours! Its a lovely house and they are very excited. I have an empty nest….. which is very strange. I’m sure it will be fine and I am thrilled for them both, its just all a bit weird!
And then Kim and Dom came home today! Just for a visit but it does mean I’m not getting very much work done! Too much hanging out and chatting over cups of tea. We haven’t seen them since January so its really lovely.
All change here, but fun and exciting! and I’ve got a haircut booked too! Hurrah!
