Happy Friday! I promised in my last blog post that you could shout at me if I complained it was raining…….. It’s raining! and warm…… so strange, but a little cooler than the rest of this week so I am happy! Today I have a fab Pop Up Gift card Holder video for you, that I made several years ago, but the pictures I have are using brand new products and focus on the amazing Playful Pets patterned papers that are on pages 149 and 40-41 of the annual Stampin’ Up! catalogue. These papers are amazing if you like cats or dogs and if you like both you are in for a real treat!

So this is the front of the card. The paper is black and white, I have taken a Real Red Blends marker and coloured in each “woof” it really makes the paper pop. And the front is decorated with a fussy cut pooch and the sentiment is from Zany Zebras.

Because the base of the paper is black you can’t see the over spill of the marker.

Inside is the fancy mechanism, its sooooo not fancy!

It’s 2 pieces of patterned paper scored and folded. They are glued together with a gap in the middle so you can pop a credit card sized card in as a gift. Again I have decorated with a couple of fussy cut pooches.

I hope you enjoy that tutorial, and you really NEED those papers!

Brian and I are going to be dodging the showers this weekend, it’s time for the paving stones to go down, so I will have some pictures to share soon. When it’s raining I’ll be busy crocheting, I need to extend the blanket I made at the beginning of the year. Well you see I use it at yoga, for the relaxation at the end and it’s not long enough to cover my toes and they get chilly! So I’m going to put a few stripes on top and bottom I need about an extra 12-15 inches. I actually will be making a pattern up so we shall see……. I’ll take pictures!

Have a wonderful weekend whatever you are up to and I’ll be back on Monday.
