Happy Wednesday, how are you? I’m doing really well, I took my own advice to be kind to myself and I took several days off! I’ve put my feet up, read several books, made some bread, and cookies, did lots of Crochet ( more about that later) did a bit of gardening, ate Fish and Chips at the beach, and basically took some down time. I feel so much better for it!
So if you need to recharge, just do it, its important!
So I was back with a very busy schedule yesterday, 4 lives ! It was a bit crazy, but lots of fun. I have 2 replays for you and some very pretty cards using the Chalk Marker. You might have missed it in the catalogue it’s on page 147 and you need one !

Here is a close up of the “snow” made with the Chalk Marker and then the 2nd card.

Now I have mentioned Crochet several times here on my blog! I find it a great way to relax and many of you have said that you also enjoy it or would like to learn or re-start. So whilst I was off last week I decided to design a scarf and I thought it would be a fab project for us to do together. Please don’t worry that this is going to be a change in focus for me, Stamping and paper crafting is my passion and my business, I just thought a bit of yarn fun in this crazy world we live in might be a good thing. That’s why the next video is separate and if you aren’t interested in it that is absolutely fine, just scroll past. If you are curious watch the video and scroll down for all the details.

The Crochet Along that starts on Tuesday November 3rd at 3.30pm, and will be on the following 3 Tuesdays also at 3.30pm, several times I showed aboard with the 2nd November on it…… Ooops ! It’s the 3rd November.
We will be making a scarf approx 7″ x 60″ ish……. depends on lots of things! I designed it so its going to be an adventure!
You will need Approx 500m Double knit Yarn ( USA 3 weight 500 yards ish)
6mm Crochet hook ( USA J hook)
I really recommend the book by DK A Little Course in Crochet: Simply everything you need to succeed
If you are new to Crochet and buying yarn for the first time, make sure to pick something that is light and bright, dark colours are REALLY hard to crochet. Avoid fluffy yarn, its really difficult to unravel and make sure it feels nice, as it’s designed to be worn.
So that is all from me for now, I shall be back soon.
