Love of Leaves Birthday Card

It really does feel like Autumn here in the UK today, it has been pouring with rain and we’ve got both fires on! I decided to share an autumnal card we made at Craft-a-long on Tuesday. Each month I send out a kit of goodies to those people who have ordered with me in the previous month and we make 3 cards and a 3d item, its live crafting and lots of fun, you’ll find all the details for the next one at the bottom of this blog post. I love the simplicity of this card, just 3 colours of ink and I’ve stamped over the top of the stitched lines die. It’s really a cool effect I’ve not seen a die like it before. I have used the Love of Leaves stamps for the leaves and Seaside Notions for the sentiment.

Since the rain is set in for us this weekend Brian and I are definitely doing the gloss work in the studio and I am determined to finish my Crochet Yoga Blanket of many colours…… Hopefully you will see the finished item at Craft and Chat on Tuesday.

I might have a whole heap of sorting out and tidying to do too, the craft stuff and paper work is all over…….. thank goodness this isn’t a video chat!
