Wow yesterday was a bit busy!!!! 2 Facebook Lives, one showcasing the fabulous Most Wonderful Time kit of products and making 2 Christmas cards and one was the start of my Crochet -a-long making a scarf.
The Most Wonderful Time product medley you can find on page 7 of the Autumn-Winter catalogue. I showcased the refill kit, it includes beautiful papers and stickers, stars and card. It’s got amazing gold foiling, and is a great kit for Christmas cards. I made 2 Christmas cards a cute Joy fold card and this wreath card. I also found out that you can get red mistletoe berries!
Here is the Joy Fold card, I cut the stickers and mounted them onto gold foil to make them ‘pop’.

And now to Crochet, I promise this blog isn’t going to be come over-run with Crochet! I am going to be setting up a page within the blog for the Crochet-a-long, and I’m moving the Facebook Lives to Thursdays, so they will be separate from my Craft and Chat. It does of course mean I get to chat with you twice in a week! What that means if you get the update via email is you will get separate ones for Paper Craft and Crochet, so if yarn isn’t your thing you can delete them. I was thrilled that so many people joined in, and we have lots of people who have never Crocheted or haven’t picked up a hook for years.
Here are all the details if you want to join in.
We will be making a scarf approx 7″ x 60″ ish……. depends on lots of things! I designed it so its going to be an adventure!
You will need Approx 500m Double knit Yarn ( USA 3 weight 500 yards ish)
6mm Crochet hook ( USA J hook)
I really recommend the book by DK A Little Course in Crochet: Simply everything you need to succeed
If you are new to Crochet and buying yarn for the first time, make sure to pick something that is light and bright, dark colours are REALLY hard to crochet. Avoid fluffy yarn, its really difficult to unravel and make sure it feels nice, as it’s designed to be worn.
I will be live on Facebook every Thursday at 2pm during November.

Thank you so much for reading to the end of this, as here in England we go into lockdown No 2 life is getting tougher. Know that I am sending you hugs wherever you are in the world as we are all in the same storm. Here within the UK we have various states of lock down and I know how difficult it is, we need our creative passions now more than ever and we need to connect too. So be kind to yourself, come hang out and chat with me on Facebook, YouTube or send me an email or even give me a call! I am always happy to hear from you!
A reminder Starting tomorrow I will be live every Thursday afternoon at 2pm in November. I will continue to be live with Craft and Chat every Tuesday at 2pm as well. Just click on the link below.

I’m just seeing your info about the crochet classes on Saturday night.
Printed what says USA Week 2, but it shows as Week 1. I almost panicked but thankfully am just a few days behind the group. Ordered the book & will try to find proper yarn tomorrow at Michael’s or Monday at Hobby Lobby. I have a J hook & just will learn right handed. I tried to learn a few years back & now see a hand surgeon for my arthritic thumb! I do have a brace too! I made 15 Thanksgiving cards today as well! My Upline for SU! lives right across the street from me, so very lucky in that respect. Thanks again for these crocheting classes in addition to your SU! classes.
