Happy Monday, so how was your weekend? I hope you had time to put your feet up! I certainly did and feel all the better for it! There are lots of things going on this week with Zoom Christmas parties and events to prep for and all too soon Friday will be here. I’m taking 2 whole weeks off from Friday! That is exciting, but before you panic, I’m still working on Tuesdays. But only for a few hours, so next week will be Craft and Chat and the 29th is Craft and Chat and Craft-a-long. I will check in then for urgent emails etc but the rest of the time I shall be hanging out with my family or just Brian and the dog depending on so many things, but I’m happy with that. If I have learnt anything this year it is that we need to go with the flow.
A spring Card today, I decided to break from Christmas projects and use the amazing Birds and Branches stamp set and dies. I love the peek-a-boo window effect.
I started by die-cutting the window in the front of the card. In order to get the texture on the front I die cut about 10 branches and then stuck them all over the card, trimming the overhanging bits. I made the blossoms by punching from the Confetti Flower punch, some of them I have added Rhinestones too and others I used a tiny bit of Wink of Stella to add a little bit of sparkle. Stamped the greeting on a narrow strip of Whisper White card and then positioned it at the back so its suspended.

You might have seen on Instagram I have had a yarn delivery today, which includes some Merino sock wool I have been waiting for. Not very patiently I might add, but it did come from Turkey! I have been wanting to make myself a cocoon style cardigan wrap and couldn’t find the right kind of soft wool, but this one is perfect! Its very exciting because I have finished all of the other crochet projects I was working on! So I’m heading to the sofa to get crocheting!
