Happy Saturday, I know I’m not normally here on a Saturday, but Friday was a little crazy so I’m here now, I hope that’s okay. I have the cutest or should I say ‘Darling’ Donkeys to share with you. I do think Donkeys can be all the colours………. but I did colour one in grey as I thought I ought to. The Darling Donkey stamp set is FREE with a qualifying order of £45 or more.

I’ve used the same papers called Flower & Field ( a FREE Sale-a-bration choice) and Stitched Shapes dies, on all of the cards. They are simple but fun.

Make sure to ground your donkey! That’s such a weird sentence, but I think it’s really important that a sitting down donkey needs floor…… I really don’t think it looks right if things are floating in mid air. I used the Grey Granite blends to make floor on all of these cards.

Darling Donkeys Cards Stampin' Up! UK Inspiring Inkin' Amanda Fowler - 3

This is a gift giving donkey! Who wouldn’t want that rose? Makes for a fun anniversary card, I’ve used Itty Bitty Greetings for the sentiment.

And finally my favourite card, the sentiment is die cut from the Pierced Blooms dies. The rhinestones are coloured using a Rococo Rose blend. Finally the sentiment is from Zany Zebras! I love the happy birthday, but kick up your heels is perfect!

Remember to always use a Memento Black ink pad when colouring in with Blends and rest your work on some scrap paper so you don’t accidentally colour your table…… The blends come through the card.

The card fraud I messaged about yesterday is ongoing, I have heard from so many people, friends, acquaintances, Elderly Parents, Aunts, friends of friends of friends…… All hit with these small charges on their cards. It is such a pain to have to replace your cards and change everything over. The banks are saying the criminals send the small charge hoping it goes unnoticed and then send bigger ones through. Please stay vigilant and help those you love check their accounts. It’s a good idea to update passwords as well, and we shouldn’t really re-use the same passwords either. I’m getting messages from my phone right now telling me off !!!

Today started out gloomy, rainy and grey, but the sun has just popped into my window, so I’m hopeful for a walk this afternoon. All the house plants have been outside to get rained on, it helps clear off the dust as well, I hate dusting, its a never ending job!

The rolls I baked this morning have cooled and are ready for lunch, and Keeva is under my feet wondering if I’ve noticed its after 12 noon and her lunchtime. So I best head off and get us all fed. I think there might be a couple of brownies left from earlier in the week too, hurrah!

Have fun this weekend, see you on Monday.
