Happy Thursday! It’s been a funny old week this week….. Its this whole lockdown 3.0, lots of days seem the same and go slow, other days blink and you’ve missed them, its all a bit crackers! So how has your week been ?
I have such a fun card for you today, one of the best ‘fancy’ folds there is. I teased you with a different version on Friday as it was Connor’s birthday card. We made this at Craft and Chat on Tuesday and you will see at the end of the video I have added a bit on to update on how to get the best spin. I was befuddled as to why the spinner, didn’t spin as well as they normally do. The answer is you need 1p pieces NOT 5p pieces…… watch the video it will all make sense.

Here is a close up of the very cute ladybird trinkets and the cut part of the Stitched with Whimsy dies, they are fabulous.
As I explained on the video the Stitched with Whimsy dies cut a border, not a shape, so I have included a picture below of the size of card you need to cut to get the frame effect. Of course a larger piece of card will work just as well and you will get a bigger edge around the frame.

I am thrilled to say I have some good shipping news!!!!! Lots of the stuck parcels have made it into the UK, and my inbox is pinging with messages saying the long awaited parcels have arrived. There are still some that haven’t quite made it to their destination yet (mine included) but they are almost within touching distance! This is very exciting news. I love your videos and have made so many of your fun pop up card boxes, which amaze my family and friends, plus, love you other boxes and bags.
I just watched your video on the spinner card and i have made them before so have, I hope, a helpful hint. Use a small dimensional between the 2 coins instead of a regular size and, man, does it spin! If you want to see how well it spins I taped the one I made for my 5 year old grandniece and would be glad to email it to you. Otherwise try it and see.
