Have you ever made a card using acetate as a base? It’s really simple to do and looks fab. For today’s card I have used the Mercury acetate from the Hydrangea hill product suite. You’ll find it on page 19 of the Jan-June mini catalogue. Its silver on one side and has a speckly colour on the other side.
Make sure when you are using the Mercury acetate that you peel off the protective layer of film off the silver side of the acetate and when you score it go carefully so you don’t crack it. You will need to pop a white layer inside so you have somewhere to write. If you are using a plain acetate, put a matching piece of card on the inside to hide the glue. You don’t need to do it for the Mercury acetate sheets as the foiling seems to hide the glue. I used double sided tear and tape its quick to use and secures really well on the acetate.
I love the Hydrangea dies they pop out so easily and give great texture. All in all a very quick card.
