I’m sure like most crafters you have a store of strips patterned paper that you are saving ‘ just in case’. I have the perfect card for you to use them up. If you aren’t a paper collector, don’t worry you can just cut off strips of your favourite papers. The strips are cut at 1/2″, 3 /4″, 1″ and 1 1/2″. I used 7 strips on the card below, but you can pay around with the number and width of the strips till you get the layout you like.
The flag ends I cut with scissors, but you can use the Banners Pick a Punch to get perfect edges. Sticking the banners in a line and then popping the sentiment over the top means the edges are nice and tidy.
The other fabulous this about this card is that it will work for all ages. It makes a great Teen or Male card as well. Just swap out the papers.

This morning I made cobs for lunch and they didn’t rise… I did put yeast in, but they are heavy and not nice! I added some new Rye Flour, and it’s pretty cold and damp here today, it always affects the bread. So I’m heading to the kitchen to make some more bread. The heating will come on in the next half an hour so that will help. Keep your fingers crossed!
It’s a good job you can’t see through the screen into my craft room right now. It’s in disarray. It is however, the sign of a good and productive day. I’ve designed lots of cards and 3D things for the coming weeks and some classes too. The downside is I have to tidy it up. I need a tidier uperer! Do you know anyone ?
