A quick information post from me about using the host code. The online store has been ‘tweaked’ in its layout and I am aware that not everyone knows when or how to use the host code, and indeed why they need to. So this is to help clarify.
Firstly using the host code means extra goodies!
We all love extra crafting goodies. If you use the host code you automatically receive a gift and card from me.
If your order is over £40 or €45 before postage you have the option of upgrading to join my monthly Craft-a-long class with a kit instead of the card and gift.
Please note you can only qualify for one reward each month.
All the details about Craft-a-Long.
Every month I teach a class that you can join to craft-a-long with me. I send out kits of products and teach the class live in Facebook. (If you aren’t on Facebook that’s fine because I send out a replay you can watch on YouTube and you can still craft-a-long.) It’s a great opportunity to craft together, learn new skills and I can answer your questions. The kit includes patterned papers, card stock, ribbons, embellishments, die-cut and punched pieces, every month is different. Each month we make 3 cards and a 3d item.
When NOT to use the host code.
There is only one exception. If your order is £150 or €200 or over, please DON’T use the Host Code. You will qualify for your own rewards which start at 10% of your order.
All orders at this level will ALSO qualify for my rewards and your choice of Card and Gift or Craft-a-long. I will email you with more details.
How to use the host code.
Firstly navigate to my online store, click the link below.
My name and picture should show in the top right hand corner. Please check that you are shopping in the right country, you can see the flag next to my name. You will need to create an account. You will find that link top right, or log in if you already have an account.
Then add all your crafting goodies into the basket, you can search by name or item number. Remember re-inkers and glue! Once you have finished ,you click on the basket top right and it will open up a screen like the one below. The pink circled area is where you need to click ADD HOST CODE.
This will open up and you add the current host code which you will find at the bottom of my emails and on my blog. Once you have added it you MUST click APPLY which is highlighted in pink.
It will then refresh as shown below and you can complete the checkout process. (Each month the host code is different).
You can then continue the check out process.
So what happens if you forget to add the host code? or it doesn’t work?
If I see that your order has gone through without adding the host code, I will email you to thank you for your order and ask if you meant to add it. In most instances it can be added by the Stampin’ Up! support team. You just need to send them a quick email. I provide you with all the information to be able to do that. Then of course we can sort out your extra reward.
I hope that has clarified Host Codes for you. Please let me know if you have any questions.
