Happy Friday! I hope you have had a great week. I have a fun stamped card for you today. With a tiny bit of fussy cutting. If you have been around me for any amount of time you will know I am obsessed with Happy Birthday stamps. I need them in all the shapes, sizes, fonts. Basically all of them. A vertical Happy Birthday is a must have! So of course I had to buy this stamp set. Having a dragonfly was another thing going for it!
I used the Polka dot embossing folder from the Checks and Dots set of embossing folders. To get coverage over the full card front I ran it through twice as it’s only 3 3/8″ or 8.6cm wide. I used a blender pen to fill in some of the leaves.
A tiny bit of fussy cutting, and 3 rhinestones finishes the card. Very simple, but with a stand out Happy Birthday.

Its been a short week for us as we were off adventuring till Wednesday. We have been visiting both sets of parents, we had a wonderful time, lots of smiles and hugs. As always there is too much to fit in and we’ve come back shattered and in need of a holiday!
This weekend I think we have more rushing about, I need a new waterproof coat. I also think I need to do some clothes shopping… Never my favourite job, I mainly shop online but I think I’m going to have to brave the ‘real’ world. Wish me luck! But first I’m going to pull everything out of my wardrobe, because I bet there are some gems lurking in the back I have forgotten about. Do you do that? I put things away when it gets warm or cold, they end up on a shelf or in a drawer and I forget all about them. It’s a bit like a treasure hunt. Lets hope I find everything I need and don’t have to go shopping.
