Wow, today was our first in person class for 18 months. It was wonderful and very different. Today I’m sharing one of the cards we made and some pictures of the event along with information about all the things we did to help everyone stay safe.
Using the lovely Hand Penned stamps we did quite a bit of water colouring. Its not as scary as you might think. The base card was stamped in balmy Blue and we used a water painter with Balmy Blue ink to colour in. The multi coloured image was stamped in Balmy Blue onto Shimmery White card with Highland Heather and Soft Seafoam ink. Shimmery white is my secret weapon when water colouring its perfect for adding water and the shimmer is fabulous.
I hired the hall for an extra hour to make sure we had time to Anti-Bac all the touch points, chair backs and grips, tables, table edges, door handles etc. The doors and windows were open, it was a lovely day. Single serve hot drinks and scrummy biscuits. Every table had hand sanitiser and Biodegradable Anti-Bac wipes too. Masks are optional for the attendees.
Thank you to Chris and Gill, for agreeing to be photographed.
Here are all the Stampin’ Up! items I used on the Hand Penned Birthday Card.

I only managed to forget 2 things, sadly both vitally important! Scissors and the thin die adapter for the Cut and Emboss machine. Thankfully Brian was on holiday today so he popped back and forth to the hall to bring me the extra supplies.
I think I need a lie down! But it was so wonderful to craft with others. The class is held on the 1st Friday of every month, so do please message me to book a place.
We are off adventuring again, don’t worry if you get my out of office email message, I will reply on my return.
There will be a video and blog posts next week, so watch out for those. Have a great weekend.
