No Craft and Chat today, I’m currently somewhere over the Atlantic! But I wanted to make sure to have something to show you whilst I was gone.

Beary Cute is a suite of products, that you will be seeing a lot of. I decided to make my swaps for the leadership convention Ive been attending in Las Vegas. Swaps are cards that we make a stack of and swap with other leaders. Its lots of fun and we get some many great ideas from swaps. So I thought I’d show you a bit of the process, because you can apply this when making your Christmas cards, or any larger number of cards that are similar or all the same. I always make simple cards for swaps, so they are easy to replicate. This is the bundle I used.

So firstly I decided on a design, and I had a variety of blue card blanks already cut so I went with a mixture. Balmy Blue, Pretty Peacock and Tahitian Tide. I then cut all the white layers. I then stamped the white front layers with the greeting and the small bear. Then stamped the inside layer with the small bear. Whilst I had the ink out I stamped and punched out the large bear as well. This is what I had ready to go.

Next I embossed the front layer and put dimensions on the back of all the bears.

Finally I stuck them together.

So this is the process

  • Cut Card blanks and layers
  • Stamp everything
  • Punch
  • Emboss
  • Glue

If you work in a batch way it is so much faster that making one card at a time. It also means the messy jobs like stamping and gluing are done together and you can clear up before moving onto the next stage. Here are the 3 colours of cards, which one do you prefer? Balmy Blue, Pretty Peacock or Tahitian Tide?
