I love a stamping technique, and one that you can use on so many different stamps has got to be a winner! Just make sure the stamp images you choose are open, the sort of images that you would colour in, they will be perfect. Of course I started out with a blue card. Blueberry Bushell with Night of Navy stamping to be precise.
The second card, takes a little longer but its well worth it. I would always do a couple of white layers first, and allow them to dry, before adding the colour. Don’t be tempted to speed up the process with a heat gun. the extra heat will flatten out your gold embossing.
Here are all the Stampin’ Up! items I used in the video. Click on the pictures to go shopping in my online store.
I’m very pleased to see that the WOW embossing powders are in stock, I must have missed the announcement, oops! I’ll get some ordered and try them out for you in another Craft and Chat.
In the most British of ways, can I say, what is going on with the weather??? It was so cold in my office yesterday I lit the log burner…… yes a real fire burning in the middle of June! Today its been a bit warmer, but with crazy pouring rain and then brilliant sunshine. I’m expecting hail or snow next!
Extra birthday celebrations planned this weekend, it was Brian’s birthday on Tuesday, so we are heading out and about and are booked into the local Thai restaurant on Saturday night. I’m hoping we will get a good walk in on Sunday at the beach too.
Have a wonderful weekend, I’ll be back soon with some more creative inspiration.
