Well of course I would decide to make Christmas cards on the hottest day of this year so far in the UK! In this craft and chat replay I had a few blurry moments at the beginning. It seems that the ethernet connector on my laptop for my wired connection is loose. So I unplugged it and all was well! Hurrah!
Now I do appreciate that the summer might not be the best day for talking about Christmas, but it is a coming, and getting a head start is always a good idea!
The second card I made coloured ribbon with Real Red Blends, its a quick way of making sure you have the perfect co-ordinating ribbon for your project.
I did go back and add the extra stalks I said I would in the video. So I’d love to know, do you prefer short or long stalks ? I just used my Mossy Meadow marker to draw them in.

Wonderful Water Colour Workshop with inks
The workshop has 2 individual classes, they will both be recorded so if you can’t make the date of the workshop you can watch later, and re-watch as you wish.
The first class gives you lots of information about water colouring using your Stampin’ Up! water based inks. We will make a variety of backgrounds using 10 different techniques. The 2nd class will be making those backgrounds into beautiful greetings cards.
Thursday 12th September
Water Colouring with Inks Introduction 7pm-9.30pm
The second part of the workshop takes place 2 days later, to give your backgrounds time to dry thoroughly. In this second class we will make 6 different cards and a Gift Box to hold the 6 cards and envelopes.
Saturday 14th September
Water Colouring with Inks Cards and Gift Box 10am – 12.30pm

The Essentials – £49 which includes both live classes, recordings, and PDF’s. The tools (water painters, Blending Brushes, Spritzers) and supplies you need for the 10 different techniques, 6 cards and gift box. (you will need a basic crafting kit, a red rubber stamp set in an open style like Sketched Butterflies, an acrylic block “D” size, Stazon ink pad and water based inks and refills.)
The Kit – £29 which includes both live classes, recordings, and PDF’s. The supplies you need for the 10 different techniques, 6 cards and gift box. (you will need a basic crafting kit, a red rubber stamp set in an open style like Sketched Butterflies, an acrylic block “D” size, Stazon ink pad and water based inks and refills, Water painters/ paint brushes, Blending brushes and water spritzers.)
The PDFs & Classes – £19 which includes which includes both live classes, recordings, and PDF’s. But no crafting supplies or tools will be sent. This option is available worldwide. You will receive a full supplies list to gather before the class.
