Its time to get out all of those scraps of patterned paper you’ve been saving…… I know you have some because we all do! This is a great technique to use them up, and now is a great time to order more if you find yourself lacking in the patterned paper department because they are 15% off till the end of August.
The squares are 1 1/4″ but bigger or smaller would work. Just find your centre point on your card front and build from there.

Its a bank holiday this weekend in the UK. I’m working on Monday though at a local show, which will be fun. I love spending time chatting about crafting! Thankfully the weird weather we’ve had for the past few days will have gone by then, so we won’t get soaked or blown away!
I can’t believe we are nearly at the end of August, Christmas is a coming! I keep hoping for a bit of downtime, but the to do list seems to get longer all the time. So if you find a few spare hours, please send them my way!
The bathroom stuff is all order and should be here in a few weeks. That is going to be a big job, we will probably take a few days off work, as we’ve got to rip everything out down to the plaster! Its going to be fun and messy!
The damson tree needs picking, the rest of the garden is over run with weeds and I really need to clear out my studio. The problem is once I decide I want to do a big task like that I want to get going, and I’ve got so many other things to do before I start. But fingers and toes crossed its next weekends job!
