A fun technique for you today in this Craft and Chat replay. Its a technique called Paper Piecing, and its a great way to use up all those patterned paper scraps you are keeping ‘just in case’. The best stamps for this technique have clear outlines that are easy to cut around.

Stamp the complete image onto you base card and then stamp again onto your patterned paper. Cut out along the lines, or just to the inside of the line, stick it down over the original image.

I coloured the tiny butterflies on the 2nd card I made and added some rhinestones as well. I used the Peach Pie blends for both to keep the colour tone the same.

I’m hoping for a chilled out weekend, although I think there might be more bathroom browsing on the agenda! We are so nearly there in the decision making, but then we’ve got the joy of ripping everything out and building it back up again. We are finalising the plans for our 35th wedding anniversary jaunt as well though, which I’m very excited about.

Remember when placing your orders this month to add in your bonus codes, and that there is a 15% off sale on lots of our Patterned papers.

I will be sneaking off to my craft room though to have a play with some goodies for the Christmas retreat……. not everything is here yet, so its still a work in progress, but lets just say, jewel tones, gold, trees, reindeer and snow. And……. that is just for starters!

I hope you have a wonderful weekend whatever you are up to!
