In today’s Craft and Chat replay I share the NEW Card keeper Kit and how to colour your dry embossed images with blending brushes. This technique works on all dry embossed images, but is especially good on the Painted Trees 3D embossing folder. The tip to punch out from the centre of your Old Olive card works really well, it saves card and you can’t see it through the white layer.
The Card keeper kit is such a great purchase. You can give it as a gift, you can keep it for yourself, or you could make the cards and then give the completed project as a gift. That is certainly my plan, and with 4 languages as well its perfect for your European friends and family too.
Here are all the Stampin’ Up! items I used in the video. Click on the pictures to go shopping in my online store.
This weekend is all about the bathroom, to be fair probably the next few weekends too…… The walls are filled, sanded and primed. The ceiling needs to be painted and the electrics finished and then I am going to be let loose with the paint. Slight problem, we can’t find the perfect, soft grey/blue in a bathroom paint. So we need to get it mixed, and that’s always a risk. I remember when we first got married, we ended up with gallons of a variety of shades of baby blue paint which was the wrong colour! To be fair, it was a long time ago and the paint mixing that happened then was us with Blue paint, white paint, a bucket and a stick……. at least now they have technology!
