I love patterned papers, and it is always nice to be able to use both sides on a card. A gatefold has twice as much surface area for decoration, meaning more of the paper can shine. In this Craft and Chat replay I share lots of cards and items I received at a recent event I attended with my team and a quick Christmas Gatefold Card design as well.
I haven’t given measurements because it will depend on the size of your standard card blank. Instead of scoring it in half score at 1/4 and 3/4 of the width.
Its so lovely to see the patterned paper of the inside too.
Here are all the Stampin’ Up! items I used in the video. Click on the pictures to go shopping in my online store.
Remember to get booked for Craft-along for December, booking closes on Saturday.
On Tuesday we have 2 new kits launching, 3 new patterned papers and the retiring list of products from the Autumn-Winter catalogue, so watch out in your email inboxes for all that information.
Lots of gardening on the to do list this weekend, its the autumn tidy up, weeding, leaves, and lawn ready for the Christmas decorations. We have been so busy we haven’t yet cleared the greenhouse, so that will be fun….I don’t think the tomatoes left will be any good! Eeek. To be fair there were only a few green ones left. I need to get the Christmas cake baked as well, I can’t believe its December on Sunday.
Have a wonderful weekend, I’ll be back soon with some more creative inspiration.
