Simple Birthday Cards

We all need quick birthday cards, and the Simple Birthday stamp set works really well with a variety of styles and techniques. I started out just stamping onto patterned paper, something so easy to do but really effective. The stamp is huge and easily covers a card front.

Then I used markers to make a rainbow effect and to add interest and finally used a variety of stamps to add depth. The embossing folder is called Starstruck and is FREE with a £55 order during Sale-a-Bration as are the Purple Sequins.

I forgot to share these completed Thank You Kindly kit Cards last week. They are a White on White card with lots of texture and gold foil. They are really pretty.

Lots of crafting happening here this weekend, I have my live version of the WOW Water Colouring with Heat Embossing class, Friday Evening and Saturday morning. There will be the opportunity for you to purchase the class as an on demand tutorial if you missed the deadline for booking. It should be showing in my classes and events next week.

The rest of the weekend will be mainly spent in the kitchen, I have some baking and curry pastes to make, and some bread to bake too. Although I think there is more bathroom stuff to do, we are so near the end, but have been scuppered recently by a faulty white panel. I think we have had 4 delivered now, each one has been damaged/faulty. Of course each time it goes back its a further delay. The panel holds the bath taps so we can’t finish the plumbing till its in. Drat!
