Following on from last weeks Craft and Chat Torn Paper Cards, I thought I would share with you a way of making it look like you’ve torn the paper, but you haven’t. Its a masking techniques that is really effective. I used my favourite With You in Mind stamp set, and started out with a very vintage style set of colours. The great thing about this technique is you can build up the layers without adding bulk.

This second card uses the blending brushes in two colours to give the effect of 2 layers of paper. Again it gives lots of texture but the card is completely flat.

I’m going to be busy this weekend getting ready for Onstage in Strasbourg I leave on Thursday. Its a Stampin’ Up! annual convention. I love meeting up with my amazing team and demonstrator friends. There will be crafting and business training, we get to see the NEW annual catalogue and there will be way too much food and fun!
