I have three fun, fast, handmade cards for you today, just using inks stamps and card. Different styles and stamps for some creative inspiration.

First up Cake Celebration, this a a great building photopolymer stamp set, you layer the stamps on top of one another to get your desired cake. The sentiments include birthday, wedding and anniversary. It is available as a bundle with dies, but I fussy cut the flowers. For this layout its best if you stamp the sentiment first, you can then position the cake stand and cake above it. I could so eat a slice of lemon cake right now.

Next up we have a more grungy card. I stamped in Stazon black ink and water coloured onto the crumb cake card. Once it was completely dry I flicked some black marker pen over the top to make the splats. Its a very quick card to make and stamping onto crumb cake is great for a grungy/vintage look.

Finally we have a simple thank you card, that actually would work really well as a birthday or even sympathy card. I started with the sky, using a blending brush and some Balmy Blue ink to add depth. Then I added the deer and the sentiment in Early Espresso ink. The trees where next and finally I added in the grass, repeat stamping to get coverage over the base of the card but also to give depth too.

So which one is your favourite? I would love to know, send me an email.

I had an amazing time last weekend. My in person Spring Retreat followed by Stamperama in Eastleigh on Sunday. A huge welcome to all the people I met at the show. I got so many hugs and smiles, met up with people I haven’t seen in years and even friends who I’ve only ever spoken to online. It was a great event.

This weekend is my online Spring Retreat and then Sunday is going to be a chilled out day. I am going to try and make it to the beach, I think I’ve earned an ice cream!

Please remember you only have until Monday to get your booking sorted for the April Craft-along.

I hope you have a wonderful weekend whatever you are up to and remember to send me pictures of your creations.

Its Craft and Chat on Tuesday, so see you at 2pm.
