We now have so many different crafting kits available, I thought it was about time I shared some of my favourites. Kits range from £8 to £24 and cover so many different occasions, types and styles. There are card kits, 3D box kits, home decor kits and scrapbooking kits. Some have stamps and ink included other have pre-printed sentiments.
I love them for so many reasons, firstly everything is contained, it means its perfect for on the go crafting. I just add my tombow to the box. But you don’t even need to do that because they include glue as well. Its just I like my tombow best!
I also love that I don’t have to design the projects, sometimes I have no mojo or crafting spark, but I want to make something, a kit is perfect to give me a creative boost when I’m in a slump.
Kits are also fab to tweak and extend, you can add card stock or embellishments and eek out the projects, use the stamps on other projects, you can be super creative if you want to be.
Finally kits make amazing gifts, because they are self contained, they are a complete creative gift. They come boxed so they are easy to wrap, and because they come with instructions it doesn’t matter how creative ( or not) the recipient is.
So here are 2 of my favourites, Expressions of Kindness and By Your Side, they are both card kits that include stamps. For this first Expressions of Kindness card I used the kit and added different stamp set to make a sympathy card, the final photo shows the cards as they are designed to be made.
For the By Your Side cards, I made some following the instructions and the others adding in card to extend and use the stamps. The awesome thing about this kit is its perfect whether you love cats or dogs or both! I also realised I showcased this kit at a Craft and Chat months ago, and then the kit went out of stock, so I never shared it…… so I have a replay for you as well.
