Tall slimline cards are a great way to change up your card making. In the UK we call these cards DL size, I know around the world they have other names, but for now I shall refer to them as slimline cards, because that describes them best. I have a video replay for you from this weeks Craft and Chat, in it I promise a PDF cheat sheet for the mats and layers of these style of cards, I promise its coming next week, so make sure to pop back then.

Here is the first card I made, really simple with the patterned paper absolutely being the star of the show.

The second card although still simple had lots of layers, I’ll pop all the measurements below. Don’t be put off by all the cutting, it is absolutely worth it!

My busy July continues, this week I have an in person class and my BOGOF stamp sale on Saturday. We are going to have lots of fun and we are using the Floral Charm papers and the Charming Day bundle too.

I think Sunday will be chilling and avoiding the Thunderstorms, clearly they are expecting the weather to be bad, because we got an email from The AA today, explaining that the weather will mean longer wait times if you breakdown eek…….. be safe out there! I shall be mainly chilling and reading I think.

But I might just be browsing baby things as well. Kim is expecting and the little one is due at the end of the year, I’m going to be a Nana. I’m very excited!

I hope you have a wonderful weekend whatever you are up to and I’ll be back soon with some more creative inspiration.
