Poinsettia Christmas Gift Bag Tutorial

I love making flowers from paper, and this year I designed a series of Poinsettias for my Christmas Retreat. We made cards, and Banners and even a candle wreath. I knew I needed to make something to share with everyone so this Poinsettia Gift Bag was an ideal project. As you will see from the video and the pictures below, this flower isn’t only for Christmas!

Of course I couldn’t resist making a blue one! I used the True Blue Florals papers which are available as product of the month for December.

Looking at the close ups, I need to do a better job of covering the white edges…… ooops!

2 sheets of standard card – I used A4 but 8 1/2″ x 11″ also works as does 12″ x 12 ”
Score at 2 1/2″ along one long edge

I wish you a wonderful festive season, I’m actually taking some time off. So my out of office is on and I’ll be returning to my office on the 5th January. But don’t worry there are blog posts and videos coming out during that time, and I will be creating too! There is a lot of projects to be made for all my classes next year!

The Spring Summer catalogue as always will go out in the post between Christmas and New Year, it doesn’t go live till the 6th and I’ll email out copies as well.
