Dandelion Wishes Incentive Trip Swaps

When I first saw Dandelion Wishes in the new Stampin’ Up! annual catalogue I knew I wanted to use it for my incentive trip swaps. We each make 25 cards and they are all mixed up by Stampin’ Up! and we get 25 back, it’s amazing to see all the different cards.

So to make 25 cards of any type takes a bit of time, so I thought I would show you how I go about it. But first do you want to see the finished card?

I am so pleased with how they have turned out and each one is completely different!

So here is how I made it, the card base is Night of Navy with a Daffodil Delight layer that is 5 1/2″ x 3 3/4″. The front layer is Shimmery White card 5 1/4″ x 3 1/2″. I used Shimmery White card not only because it is awesome and shimmery, but it can hold the water and the Brushos without piling.

So onto that shimmery layer I spritzed with water and then sprinkled Prussian Blue and Yellow Brusho over the top. I added more water and more Brusho as needed and then left them all to dry.

The following day I stacked them on my desk and put some heavy books on them to flatten them out!

Next I stamped the Dandelions in versamark and covered them in white embossing powder and heat set them. I love how all the patterns are different.

I stuck them to the Daffodil Delight layer and flattened them again!

Then I made the sentiment tabs 1′ Whisper White strips, stamped in Night of Navy and made into flag ends using the Triple Banner punch.

I added dimensionals on the back, attached all the layers together and here is a whole pile of them!
